PS Series Trolleys

PS Trolleys combined with hook type hoists, provide economical means of transporting loads.

Frames:  Design embossed steel sideplates on the 1/4 through 2-ton models provide a high strength to weight ratio.  Sideplates are of wrap-around design providing a full face bumper as well as a protective lug which will prevent the trolley from falling off the I-beam in event of inadvertent wheel axle failure.  The 3-ton trolley sideplate frames are thick rolled steel sections with added bumpers.

Wheels:  High quality pressed steel wheels, carbonized and hardened to ensure long life, are offered on the standard trolleys.  The wheels have built-in ball bearings to provide smooth easy rolling action and compound tread design make them suitable for operation on wide flange beams as well as American Standard I-beam tapered flange beams.  Deep flanges help prevent wheels from climbing up onto the track.  Pressure lubricating fittings in the axles allow easy lubrication.

Cross Pin:  The cross pin connects the sideplates and provides equalized wheel loads.  It has a center located hook saddle groove designed for mounting hook suspended hoists permitting the closest possible headroom.  For hoists which will not hook over the cross pin a pear shaped ring is supplied.  Each trolley is easily adjustable to fit several sizes of beams by simply shifting the cross pin space washers from inside and outside of trolley sideplate.
